According to Grant Thornton’s International Business Report (IBR) released on 9 May 2009, the UK has bucked the trend by saying that staffing costs, rather than raw material costs, will be the factor which has the biggest impact on cost pressures over the next 12 months.

 

Getting the best from your people requires a fraction of the cost of employment, and yet is all too frequently ignored.  The financial gains can be proven, and are substantial.
